Katie Moise treats men, women and children with orthopedic and/or pelvic floor dysfunction. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Emory University with highest honors and graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.A. in Exercise Sport Science and Psychology.
Katie’s clinical background includes treating orthopedic and sports injuries in both active adults and in adolescents. She also has a special interest in working with women experiencing pelvic health problems including pregnancy/postpartum related problems, urinary dysfunction, bowel dysfunction and sexual dysfunction. As a Polestar certified Pilates instructor, Katie is passionate about integrating Pilates with physical therapy and believes improving one’s body awareness, motor control and movement patterns can enhance one’s overall quality of life.
In addition to Katie’s advanced training in Pilates and pelvic health, she is trained in the Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and certified in trigger point dry needling through Myopain Seminars. She is also trained in Neurac Redcord, and enjoys using this unique system in her rehabilitation programs.
In her free time you’ll find Katie spending time on the Atlanta Beltline, playing on her tennis league, cheering on the Tar Heels and finding the best brunch spots in Atlanta!
